I know I'm not particularly good at this, any of this, I'm not sure why I'm doing this, really, but I am. I don't think I'm particularly bad, just gratingly mediocre, so perhaps this will help serve as a lesson to me and show me how to improve.

Insecurities out of the way, I'm more or less new to drawing, so I'm pleased with what I've accomplished on my own, and I'm still looking for something to really spark my imagination and get me working. At the moment most of what I draw is either cartoony doodles or sketches of people who I can get to sit still for a little while. Still, this all feels very dry to me, a little bit soulless, I'm still searching for something, but I'm not yet sure what it is exactly.

The poetry, I know, isn't fabulous, I can't judge it, I can never judge anything I produce myself because I may fall prey to my own creeping paranoia. Oh well, you live and learn. I'll learn, somehow.
